Knik Energy, LLC is an Alaska based renewable energy developer drawing on the natural, renewable resources of the wind and geothermal to successfully address the growing demand for clean and sustainable energy.

Created by successful developers from Juneau and Fairbanks, Alaska, Knik Energy intends to focus on projects located in South Central Alaska.

Founded in 2022, Knik Energy is helping to lead Alaska toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. Our success is derived from the power of local communities where we conduct business, our company leadership who develops unique partnerships and innovative programs, and our projects and our renewable energy sources which we develop to fulfill the energy needs for today and tomorrow.

More About Us

The phenomenal growth in renewable energy today is largely due to three things: technological advances that help increase productivity while driving down costs, Alaska’s strong demand for clean energy as we tackle the challenges of climate change, and the continued support of diverse government-sponsored programs. At Knik Energy, LLC, we have an industry-experienced team of renewable energy professionals who have led project development, finance, and construction and operation activities. Our co-founder, Mike Craft, led the development and is the owner of the Delta Wind Farm project in Tok, Alaska. Keith Comstock, co-founder, was the lead investor in the FERC-licensed Sweetheart Lake Hydropower project just south of the City of Juneau, Alaska. Both Mike and Keith were co-founders of the Alaska Independent Power Producers Association and are recognized as thought leaders and market makers in Alaska.

At Knik Energy, LLC, our commitment is to continue aggressive development of wind, geothermal and energy storage projects to meet Alaska’s growing need for renewable energy.

Our future depends on it.
